This page outlines AskQura’s commercial terms, privacy posture, support model and deployment options. It is intended to support procurement, compliance and IT review processes.

Terms of Service (summary)

Commercially practical terms designed for enterprise use.

  • AskQura is licensed on a named-user basis. Each user must have their own account.
  • Credential sharing is not permitted and may result in account suspension.
  • The customer retains full ownership of all uploaded documents and content.
  • AskQura does not claim ownership over customer data or generated responses.
  • The platform provides responses only from customer-supplied documents.
  • AskQura does not provide legal, medical or regulatory advice.
  • Subscription fees are billed monthly unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Either party may terminate in accordance with agreed commercial terms.
Full contractual terms are provided as part of the commercial agreement or MSA.

Privacy & data protection

Designed to align with POPIA and corporate data protection expectations.

  • Customer data is logically isolated per organisation.
  • Documents and content are not shared across customers.
  • AskQura does not use customer data to train public or third-party models.
  • Access to data is restricted to authorised users within the customer organisation.
  • Audit and usage visibility can be enabled for administrators.
  • Data is processed only for the purpose of delivering the AskQura service.
A detailed Privacy Policy and POPIA addendum can be supplied on request.

SLA & support model

Clear, predictable support aligned with business usage.

  • Platform availability: Target uptime aligned to enterprise SaaS standards.
  • Monitoring: Platform health monitoring during business hours.
  • Maintenance: Planned maintenance communicated in advance.
  • Support channel: Email or ticket-based support.
  • Response times: Defined by severity level.
  • Enterprise support: Custom SLAs available for large deployments.
SLA terms are finalised per customer based on scale and deployment model.

Deployment options

Flexible deployment to match organisational IT and security requirements.

  • Standard cloud deployment: Fastest time to value, managed by AskQura.
  • Private deployment: Dedicated environment for a single organisation.
  • Enterprise options: SSO integration, governance controls and custom access policies.
  • On-premise / private cloud: Available subject to commercial and technical scope.
Deployment approach is agreed during onboarding and documented as part of the implementation plan.
